Queen’s College was established in Nassau in 1890 by the Methodist Church. It is a member of the International Association of Methodist Schools, Colleges and Universities (IAMSCU). It is a private school in The Bahamas, whose students perform above national expectations in all external examinations.
Religious Education Teacher
Requirements:
- A Minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree from a recognized University
- A postgraduate certificate in Education, a Teaching Certificate or equivalent
- Willingness to support the school’s Leadership Development, Curriculum, Accelerated Programme, including teaching advanced courses such as APs, SAT or BGCSE for the relevant disciplines and advanced courses is preferred
- Two Professional References
- Willingness to participate in after-school activities
- Ability to start and stay, when required, for extended periods including late August through mid-July
- Successful applicants will be expected to make a commitment to the life of the school
- Candidates must have excellent oral and written communication skills and be computer literate
