Our client in the Finance Sector is seeking to hire, on a temporary contract, a Member Service Representative (MSR) for their San Fernando, Couva and Arouca location.
Salary:$7,513.00
Job Purpose:
The Member Service Representative (MSR) I is required to have a high level of knowledge and understanding of all the products offered and available to members of the client. He/ she must also be very familiar with the client’s internal systems, policies and procedures. MSR I is responsible for his/her continuous development and must be able to respond to members’ queries and concerns in a professional manner.
Job Duties & Responsibilities:
- Accurately and efficiently process all transactions, deposits/payments to members’ accounts, updating and receipting of said
- Attend to member queries from inception of query to feedback and correction relative to MSR transactions to ensure member
- Preparation of authorization for payroll deduction
- Preparation of Internal Standing Orders, Bank Standing Orders and Salary Deduction
- Processing of ACH payments to members’ bank
- Assist with signing up member for CUNA, Sagicor and JMMB Products.
- Verifying and updating member information on Cruisenet
- Balancing of cash on a daily basis and handing over in a timely
- Preparation of member cheques, withdrawals and standing
- Assist with disbursing of member cheques and
- Cross Sell of products and
- Ensure the lobby is kept in a clean and neat condition; also provide reading materials for members and / or
- Timely submission of cash / receipts to Verification
- Maintain 100% document security e. all documents must be safely secured together with cash, keys and stamp.
- Establish and maintain harmonious relationships with
- Ensuring that the Credit Union’s external image is favourable and that any adverse developments are quickly reported to
- Working with all other departments to ensure the Credit Union’s goals are
- Participate in projects and follow through on assignments related to business growth and member service initiative as required by the
- Any other related duties as assigned/required by the
Education and Experience:
- Possession of a GCE / CXC Ordinary Level Certificate of passes in five (5) subjects inclusive of English language and Maths
- Any other equivalent qualifications and/or
- At least one (1) years’ work experience in a similar field in a similar
