A business membership organization located in Kingston is seeking a Marketing & Communications Officer to enhance its visibility, connect with stakeholders, and execute strategic marketing and communication initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:
Digital Marketing:
- Manage and update website content
- Curate and schedule engaging posts across Facebook, X (formerly Twitter), LinkedIn, Instagram, and more
- Monitor social media activity and respond to inquiries
- Plan and execute digital and traditional advertising campaigns
- Track performance using analytics tools
Content Creation:
- Write newsletters, press releases, blog posts, and marketing materials
- Collaborate across departments to source stories and content
- Ensure consistency with brand messaging
Event Promotion & Engagement:
- Promote events via digital and offline channels
- Assist with logistics such as registration, set-up, and collections
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with members, partners, and media
Market Research:
- Monitor trends and competitor activities
- Gather feedback from members to improve marketing effectiveness
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Communications, Public Relations, or a related field
- Experience in digital marketing and social media management
- Excellent writing, editing, and content creation skills
- Proficiency in analytics tools and digital platforms
- Strong interpersonal communication and relationship-building abilities
- Creative thinking and a proactive mindset
- Familiarity with Jamaica’s business landscape is an asset
