Business Analyst (12-month contract)
Location: Port of Spain
Sector: Financial Services
Qualifications and Experience:
- Degree in Business Analysis or a related discipline
- 2–4 years of experience as a Business Analyst with increasing responsibilities
- Skilled in requirements management across small to medium projects
- Proficient in Waterfall, Iterative, and/or Agile project methodologies
- Experience in stakeholder analysis, requirements planning, and prioritization
- Knowledge of multiple elicitation techniques (e.g., interviews, workshops, surveys)
Nice-to-Have:
- CBAP, CCBA, or PMI-PBA Certification
- Master’s Certificate in Business Analysis
Responsibilities & Duties:
- Conduct stakeholder analysis to identify key contributors and their requirements roles
- Create accurate plans and estimates for requirements activities
- Manage and communicate risks, assumptions, and constraints related to requirements
- Prioritize requirements using structured techniques aligned to business value
- Collaborate with senior analysts to review and validate requirements approaches
- Facilitate group sessions and one-on-one meetings to gather, analyze, and refine requirements
- Document business and system requirements using standard methodologies
- Analyze business solutions and define scope using industry-standard practices
- Support the delivery and evolution of technology solutions based on defined requirements
