GCG Group Jamaica is a member of the GCG Group which operates in 21 countries across the US, Caribbean, Central and South America. We are seeking to recruit a highly motivated individual to join the team in the capacity of Security Coordinator at our Kingston location.
KEY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Assist in coordinating and supervising day-to-day security activities.
- Escalate breaches, irregularities, or incidents and support resolution processes.
Maintain up-to-date records of inspections and incident reports for managerial review.
Support planning and execution of security audits at all operational locations.
Enforce access control to the ramp, baggage areas, cargo zones, and aircraft.
Oversee secure transportation and sealing of catering equipment and bonded goods.
Ensure compliance with JCAA and client protocols for in-flight food service items.
Facilitate or support security training sessions and awareness briefings for staff.
Assist in response to emergencies, including evacuation coordination and documentation.
ACADEMIC & EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:
- Diploma or Certificate in Security Management, Criminal Justice, or a related discipline
- Minimum 3 years’ experience in a security role within aviation, catering, logistics, or related sector
- Familiarity with civil aviation security standards (ICAO, JCAA)
- Previous experience in audits, reporting, and supporting compliance efforts
- Proven ability to develop and maintain an environment of trust, diversity, and inclusion within your team.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)Highly organized and detail-oriented.
