DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
The following duties are typical for this classification. The Manager may not perform all of the listed duties and/or may be required to perform additional or different duties from those set forth below to address business needs and changing business practices.
- Assist with the development of departmental Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs);
- Direct and control the work and resources of the Cash Logistics and Management operations. Ensure maintenance of high level of security, control and performance standards adhering to SOPs, policies and guidelines prescribed by the Company;
- Prepare and submit daily vehicle schedules, duty rosters, leave schedules and other reports to management to keep them updated on the status of operations;
- Make recommendations to improve efficiency, cost-effectiveness and security;
- Carry out spot checks, fleet audits and inspections to ensure controls are in place and adhered to;
- Assure effective customer service and relations through timely delivery of high quality services;
- Select, train, develop and motivate staff to maintain high level of efficiency and security and to adhere to road safety rules and regulations;
- Ensure compliance of operations with company policy and applicable money/cash handling and security legislation;
- Promote and maintain a secure and safe working environment within the department in line with company policy;
- Liaise with the Quality Control Unit (General Manager/Fleet Manager) to ensure infrastructures are in proper working condition;
- Manage and refer human resource related issues of employees to HR department;
- Coordinate the organization, staffing and operational activities for the department;
- Participate in the development and implementation of goals, objectives, policies and priorities; recommend and implement resulting policies and procedures;
- Establish schedules and recommend methods for providing services including overseeing and reviewing timelines and schedules; identify resource needs and review with appropriate management staff;
- Direct, coordinate and review the work plan for assigned services and activities; assign work activities and projects; monitor work flow; review and evaluate work products, methods and procedures; meet with staff to identify and resolve problems;
- Supervise staff preparation for audits/inspections conducted by Senior Management officials (Managing Director, Directors and General Manager);
- Evaluate personnel; provide or coordinate staff training; work with employees to motivate, correct deficiencies and implement discipline;
- Assist in managing employees and labour relations for the department; participate in the effective resolution of differences. Conduct random investigations; while documenting and reporting negligence and violations;
- Review complaints from the general public regarding personnel; resolve problems in a timely, effective and efficient manner;
- Prepare and present staff reports and other correspondence as appropriate and necessary.

KEY SERVICES OVERSEEN
- Cash in Transit: Secure transportation of cash and valuables between locations, often utilizing armored vehicles and trained personnel.
- ATM Services: Replenishment and maintenance of ATMs, ensuring they are stocked with cash and functioning properly.
- Cash Collection: Secure collection of cash deposits from businesses, often combined with cash delivery services.
- Cash Management: Cash counting, balancing, preparing deposit vouchers, and depositing daily sales.
- Cash Processing: Bill wrapping, sorting, and quality checking.
- Remote Cash Capture: Technology-driven solutions for managing cash supply chains more efficiently.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE GUIDELINES
Degree in Security Administration and Management or a related field. Certified Protection Professional (CPP) or Post Graduate qualifications will be an asset.
Experience: Minimum four (4) years of increasingly responsible experience managing and coordinating service-related operations, preferably in a para-military organization. Two (2) years of supervisory/management experience is required.
