BACKGROUND
The Barbados Tourism Marketing Inc. in its quest to promote, assist and facilitate the efficient development of tourism and Barbados’ tourism product, is seeking to recruit exceptionally skilled persons to fill the positions of Customer Experience Officers.
SUMMARY OF KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Manage and coordinate the COO’s office activities and communications.
- Prepare, review and edit documents and correspondence as required.
- Prepare and distribute briefing materials and minutes for meetings and presentations.
- Monitor action items and update the COO on ongoing developments.
- Act as liaison between the COO and stakeholders.
- Assist with the planning and execution of conferences, meetings and workshops.
- Coordinate travel arrangements to include itinerary preparation.
- Assist with the preparation of financial and other reports.
- Manage the COO’s calendar to include scheduling appointments, meetings and conferences.
- Maintain accurate and organized filing systems.
- Maintain and update databases, client lists and contact information.
- Process requisitions and invoices as required.

SUMMARY OF KEY REQUIREMENTS
- A Diploma or Associate Degree in Business Administration, Marketing or a related discipline.
- At least 5 years’ proven experience in a similar role.
- Experience working in the tourism and travel industry would be an asset.
- Handles confidential information with the utmost discretion.
- Maintains a professional, diplomatic and tactful disposition.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Sound planning, organising and time management skills.
- Meticulous attention to detail and accuracy.
