Manage and maintain the inventory management system.
Support daily administrative functions and help ensure office procedures are followed efficiently.
Assist in process improvement initiatives and monitor compliance with established systems.
Coordinate basic logistics for shipping and deliveries.
Assist with overseeing site resources, including staff, supplies, and operational tools.
Perform and accurately record purchase transactions for specialised recyclable materials, following established procedures and developing subject matter familiarity.
Oversee cash handling activities, including balancing drawers and addressing customer cash queries.
Prepare and send daily reports with accuracy and timeliness.
Operate standard office equipment (e.g. scanners, photocopiers, phones).
Answer and direct incoming calls, manage messages, and assist with customer queries.
Maintain internal databases, filing systems, mail logs, and inventory records.
Communicate professionally with customers and assist in resolving issues effectively.
Support emergency response, crisis, and accident protocols when necessary.
Perform any other duties assigned by the Office Manager or senior leadership.

The role is based at an active facility that supports both indoor office operations and outdoor yard activities. Interactions with outdoor processes may occasionally be necessary. The site includes the use of heavy-duty equipment and vehicle movement, requiring attentiveness and adherence to safety protocols. Personal protective equipment (PPE) is required where applicable.
