General Duties & Responsibilities: - Monitor, communicate with CGA’s distributors and customers, on orders, account status and any queries/needs in a timely manner.
- Liaise with Customs Department/Customs Broker to ensure the timely processing of shipping documents.
- Liaise with Hauler for the procurement and loading of shipping containers for export orders.
- Liaise with CGA drivers & stores department for the delivery of consolidated/breakbulk cargo at specified freight forwarder warehouses
- Liaise continuously with Planning/ Production/Stores/Inventory Departments regarding stock status and production schedules in order to ensure that customer’s order requirements are met.
- Manage and create paperwork for Export shipments:
- CARICOM Invoices - Create and apply for Certificate of Origin from ExporTT - Create Breakbulk Bill of Ladings - Create & submit Proforma BLs to Freight Forwarders - Submit VGM data to Freight Forwarders once shipment is loaded on port - Create and apply for Export Health Certificate (as needed) - Create and apply for Free Sale Certificate (as needed) - Ensure Billing of orders once it is packed and ready for shipment
- Update and maintain Export Log book
- Ensure Hauler has C82 paperwork, including Weighbridge tickets and Customs & Excise shipment slips for container loading at Point Lisas port.
- Monitor the export Accounts Receivables report in order to notify clients of outstanding payments, credits owed and incoming payments are processed in a timely manner by Accounts.
- Create Credit Notes and submit to Accounts as informed by Export Manager.
- Ensure the timely preparation and distribution of monthly reports, e.g.
- VPG (Volume Planning Guide) - Submitted to Planning Department - Monthly Export Sales Report:
- Submitted to Export/Finance Manager - Create reports using sale/product trends, pricing, invoice values as informed by Export Manager.
- Assist brokers with online submission of documents via TTBIZ web portal.
- Preparing price lists; quotations and respond to enquiries by new and existing export customers as informed by Export Manager.
- Update and maintain customer and freight forwarder contact database.
- Meet and liaise with Freight forwarders on shipment updates, request bookings for export containers, negotiate/request freight rates and maintain contact with regards to any issues/changes to shipments as necessary.
- Arrange shipment of samples/POP material for overseas customers as informed by Export Manager
- Liaise with couriers such as IBC Express & DHL to ensure CGA’s accounts are always up to date, re-order shipping stationery as needed and prepare AWB for shipment of documents/samples.
- Manage and update digital and physical files for Export customers and other related Export data.
- Create and submit POs for Export to Accounts once vouchers are approved by the Export Manager.
- Conforms to all established departmental & company policies, procedures & objectives, GMPs, PPE, HACCP, food safety & HSE site protocols.
- Undergo any job-related training required by the company;

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE: - Bachelor’s Degree in Sales, Marketing, Accounts, Business Management or any related field.
- At least 2- 3 years’ experience in Export Marketing would be an asset.
- Experience working in a manufacturing environment.
- Experience in a target-oriented work environment and the ability to prioritize work based on given deadlines will be considered.
