Core Functions:
The core function of the Technician – Shift Operation is to monitor the machine and carry out required technical work on the machine that he or she is assigned. This means ensuring that the bottle-making process, from raw material to finished product, is carried out with efficiency and at the quality standards required of the company, minor fine-tuning is done, and troubleshooting, if necessary, while maintaining a clean work area.
Responsibilities and Duties:
- Perform appropriate duties assigned by the Shift Supervisor/Management.
- Carry out start/stop and running procedures for the machine and related auxiliary equipment.
- Ensure that standard and regular quality checks outlined on the operator’s quality forms are completed.
- Keep the surrounding floor, machines, and related equipment’s clean.
- Record the amount of materials used, waste created, and bottles produced.
- Ensure a consistent flow of raw material is placed into the machine, as well as the proper packing of the bags.
- Communicate with team members and support teams to ensure continuous production of the correct product
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-speed environment, follow standardized work, and adhere to safe work practices in a continuous improvement environment.
- Willing to work in a shift system, willing to work in a relief system, and also on weekends
- Any other duties

Special Conditions associated with the job
- High School Diploma/Certificate from a specialized skill training institution
- Ability to work and communicate well with others
- Over 5 years’ experience in blow molding
