Valuation Surveyor
As a Valuation Surveyor with an established firm in Barbados, your role will include:
- preparing proposals and undertaking valuations of a diverse range of properties on a regular basis
- preparing reports to the highest standards for review by the review appraiser
- undertaking a variety of Loan Security, Institutional and Corporate Valuations
- preparing ad-hoc advice within specific timeframes
- undertaking secured lending valuations and one-off valuations, including development
- attending presentations and events
- answering calls and providing information in response to valuation queries
- supporting colleagues and assisting during absences.
To apply, you should:
- be an RICS Member or an AssocRICS qualified Registered Valuer with at least two years’ experience in valuation practice in the Caribbean
- demonstrate an understanding of analytical techniques for evaluating real estate investments
- be willing to assist in all areas of work, as described above and to be determined accordingly
- be resident in Barbados or be willing to relocate to Barbados, and if the latter, be permitted to work under the CARICOM CSME arrangement for approved skilled nationals and be willing to relocate at your own expense.
