Legal Secretary Position

Job Summary
Minimum Requirements (Please read carefully before applying):
- At least 3-5 years’ legal experience in General Conveyancing & Probate Practices and Commercial Law (will be an asset)
- Degree in Management/Administration or Diploma in Administration/Secretarial Studies or equivalent qualifications
- Certificate/Diploma in Professional Secretaries Designate
- Certificate/Diploma in Paralegal Training
- Advance Computer literacy/Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite
- Working knowledge interfacing with representatives from: Stamp Office, Titles Office, Supreme Court and Companies Office.
Key Functions
- To provide full legal and secretarial services to the Attorney-At-Law ensuring that the relevant duties are executed in a timely and efficient manner
- Liaise with internal departments and external clients.
- Good writing and oral communications skills
- Ability to prepare basic legal documents, correspondence, reports, invoices, and accounting documents, under the guidance and on behalf of the Supervisor
- Attention to detail required
