JOB OVERVIEW
The Estimator is responsible for overseeing all company projects, from cost estimation to final delivery, while ensuring commercial efficiency, operational readiness, and compliance with company policies. This role bridges the technical and financial aspects of construction and manufacturing projects with effective coordination, reporting, and contract management.
RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES
Project Oversight and Execution
- Supervise all ongoing company projects, ensuring timely and budgeted delivery.
- Coordinate daily with supervisors and departments regarding fabrication, installation, and logistics.
- Identify issues affecting project delivery and propose timely solutions.
- Submit daily reports to the CEO summarizing progress, challenges, and recommendations.

Estimating and Cost Management
- Analyze proposals, blueprints, specifications, and other documentation to prepare accurate cost estimates.
- Determine labor, material, and time requirements for each project.
- Compute total project costs and verify pricing accuracy.
- Prepare and present estimates with supporting numerical and descriptive information.
- Maintain and update the cost database, including landed costs and rates for raw materials and engineered products.
QUALIFICATION AND EXPERIENCE
- Certification in Estimating or related Construction/Engineering field
- At least 5 years’ experience as an Estimator or in a similar position
- Proficient in MS Office, Excel, AutoCAD, and a multitude of estimating software
- Strong analytical and reporting skills
- Working knowledge of construction documents and ability to read blueprints
- Ability to coordinate across multiple departments and work independently. Knowledge of CAD software
- An acceptable combination of academic qualifications and work experience may be considered in lieu of minimum requirements
