Mission of the Role
As an Area Manager for Partnership Markets, you will be responsible for driving the commercial development of our brands through third-party distributors across Central America and the Caribbean. This includes full P&L ownership, pricing strategy, distributor performance, and execution of the Route to Market. You will lead strategic relationships with key distributor MDs and ensure high-quality execution of annual plans.
Responsible for one of Campari’s most strategic and premium brand portfolios, including Aperol, Campari, Magnum, Kingston 62 and Espolón. This is a highly visible role with the opportunity to shape market presence, drive growth, and build long-term distributor partnerships in a dynamic and diverse region. You’ll also play a key role in developing omnichannel strategies and ensuring full market implementation, not just sales, but brand building and execution.
Key Responsibilities
- Analyze sell-in/sell-out data and market trends to guide decision-making.
- Contribute to the 3-year strategic business plan for the region.
- Own commercial performance across Tier 1 and Tier 2 countries in the region.
- Define and implement strategic and tactical plans to grow market share and profitability.
- Lead distributor relationships, ensuring alignment on business goals and execution standards.
- Identify opportunities for portfolio expansion and optimization.
- Collaborate with Marketing, Customer Marketing, and Finance to support brand development and business cases.
Experience & Education
- Bachelor’s degree in economics / marketing / business administration.
- Minimum 6–8 years of relevant marketing and sales experience within a structured multinational company.
- Relevant experience in the Spirits, Wine, and Beer industry is a strong advantage.
- Management of third-party distributors within the Caribbean region, (JBP).
- Experience in premium brand development within a structured multinational environment, including exposure to various marketing roles.
- Fluent in English and Spanish is a plus.
- Strong commercial and brand-building experience with a solid marketing foundation.
- Skilled in business development, project execution, and time management.
- Excellent analytical, communication, and influencing abilities.
Travel
Frequent travel is required, with up to 60% travel expected for this position.
