VAN SALES ASSOCIATES
(ALL ISLAND)
Reporting to the Route Sales Supervisor, the incumbents will be responsible for performing route sales activities and delivery of company products to customers in an efficient and effective manner.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Load and unload Merchandise/products safely to areas required
- Place stands, display materials, posters and all other promotional items supplied.
- Merchandise products to maximize sale of the products
- Ensure that products are displayed and rotated as “first expired, first out”;
- Ensure that only products of the highest quality are made available to consumers.
- Ensure that products are handled and stored in a manner that will minimize damage
- Report any instance of mishap/accident
ACADEMIC/ PROFESSIONAL REQUIREMENTS
- Secondary Education
- At minimum: 2 CXC/GCE subjects, preferably English Language and a numeric subject
- Computer literate
SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS
- Excellent communication skills, both orally and written
- Strong coordination and organizational skills
- Ability to work under pressure
- Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to be a flexible team player
- Ability to lift boxes weighing 40 lbs or more
- Demonstrable customer service skills/relationship building
- Works in a fast paced physically task intensive working environment dealing with Fast Moving Consumer Goods (FMCG) products.
- Must be able to work long or irregular hours
