The Sous Chef will be responsible for curating unforgettable customer experiences through our dishes while maintaining the brand integrity and culture. This is a Full time, on site role in kingston Jamaica. The Sous Chef will work directly with the Head Chef in the daily kitchen operations, including but not limited to, meal planning and preparation, training and managing staff, maintaining kitchen inventory, quality control and ensuring food safety and sanitation standards are met.
Requirements
- Culinary skills and knowledge of food preparation and presentation techniques.
- Strong Leadership skills and experience managing kitchen operations and staff.
- Experience managing Inventory and purchasing.
- A good understanding of food safety and sanitation standards according to the health and safety regulations of Jamaica.
- Ability to work in a fast past environment and maintain a level head and high standards under pressure.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Formal culinary training or professional studies, or equivalent experience is preffered.
- Previous experience in a similar role is a plus.
