INTERNAL AUDIT CLERK

We are  seeking applications from suitably qualified individuals to fill the position of Internal Audit Clerk for Kingston and St. Catherine.

 Key Accountabilities

• Ensure that the store is in full compliance with the Company’s policies, standards and procedures, report on weakness, noncompliance of policies/standards etc., make recommendations in consultation with Supervisor.
• Prepare and submit weekly/monthly reports.
• Ensure that where breaches are observed these are immediately highlighted to the Audit Manager/Supervisor.

Profile

• ACCA Level 1 or an Associate Degree (Accounting major) from a recognized tertiary institution with at least 2 years experience in auditing, preferably in the retail industry.
• Ability to work on own initiative and under pressure.
• Effective planning, time management and decision making skills.
• Highly confidential, organized, honest, ethical and career-oriented.
• The ability to identify issues and problems and make recommendation to minimize losses to the Organization.
• The ability to prepare reports.
• Meticulous and proficient with numbers
• Experience in Audit and or Inventory Management would be an asset.
