RELIEF CARIBBEAN STUDIES TEACHER - SIXTH FORM
ROLE AND CORE FUNCTIONS
The incumbent is required to teach Caribbean Studies to Sixth Form students in accordance with the approved curriculum. Duties include monitoring the progress of students, effective classroom supervision and guidance to ensure the all-round development of students.
EDUCATION & QUALIFICATIONS
- A Bachelor’s Degree in the related subject area from an accredited University.
- Diploma in Education will be an asset.
KNOWLEDGE & EXPERIENCE
- Familiarity with the respective Subject Syllabus.
- A minimum of 3 years teaching experience at the Sixth Form level is essential.
- Sound knowledge of the theory and application of the subject area.
- Sound knowledge of evaluation and measurement techniques.
- Sound knowledge of modern methods, principles and techniques of teaching.
MANDATORY REQUIREMENTS
- Registered to teach by the Ministry of Education
