Main Responsibilities:
- Develop, coordinate, deliver and evaluate training and development programs.
- Manage the administration of both internal and external training for new and existing employees.
- Ensure all necessary resources and materials are in place for effective training sessions.
- Conduct engaging training sessions in various formats, including individual, group and classroom settings.
- Assist in identifying suitable external training and development opportunities for employees.
- Follow up on on-the-job training to ensure it is completed, verified and documented promptly.
- Maintain up-to-date records of approved internal training content and list of trainers.
- Keep comprehensive records of employee training and ensure that training plans are effectively implemented and consistent across the organization.
- Oversee the management and security of the training centre including training rooms and kitchen equipment.
- Identify training needs through various channels such as feedback from complaints, exit interviews, training assessments and performance reviews.
- Collaborate with management to develop and maintain an annual training plan, budget and schedule.
- Prepare and submit timely monthly reports.
- Ensure continuous training and retraining initiatives are in place for all employees, both new and tenured.
- Handle all administrative aspects of training in a timely and consistent manner.
Required Qualification & Experience:
- A Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resource Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
- At least two (2) years of relevant work experience with a focus on Training or Adult Learning & Development.
Required Skills & Competencies:
- Strong analytical and decision-making skills.
- Knowledge of HR policies and procedures or a strong willingness to learn.
- Excellent presentation and facilitation skills.
- Clear and effective communication abilities, both written and verbal.
- The ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously with flexibility.
- A high level of integrity and commitment to confidentiality.
- Practical experience with Microsoft Office Suite and Canva.
- The ability to travel island-wide as needed.
- Previous experience in developing and delivering training programs will be considered a significant advantage.
