CHIEF STEWARD
The successful applicant will be responsible for directing, supervising, training, and inspecting the performance of assigned stewarding personnel. He or she must ensure that all procedures are completed to the hotel's standards.
Specific requirements/duties of the position include:
- Possess strong leadership qualities, with the ability to organize and delegate tasks to a team.
- Maintaining hotel standards, policies, and procedures as they relate to health, safety, and sanitation.
- Assisting in the preparation of departmental budgets and ensures budgetary goals are met.
- Avoiding the loss and breakage of equipment.
- The ability to lead & motivate others.
Qualifications and Experience:
- A minimum of a first degree in Food & Beverage Management.
- Must be HACCP certified.
- Computer literate with working knowledge of the Microsoft Office suite of products
- Minimum two years’ work experience in a leadership position.
