About Us: F&E Energy is a leading provider of backup and alternative energy solutions across Jamaica. We are expanding our service team and seeking a skilled Heavy Duty Mechanic with strong experience in troubleshooting and repairing diesel generators.
Key Responsibilities:
Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair diesel generators of various brands and sizes
Perform scheduled maintenance and emergency repairs
Identify and replace faulty components, including electrical and mechanical parts
Maintain accurate service records and reports
Liaise with clients and provide excellent customer service
Ensure all work complies with safety and environmental regulations
Requirements:
Minimum 3 years of experience in generator servicing and repair
Strong diagnostic skills with mechanical and electrical systems
Certification in Diesel Mechanics or Heavy Equipment Maintenance from HEART/NSTA Trust or equivalent Jamaican institution
Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and wiring diagrams
Own tools are an asset
Valid Jamaican driver’s license
Able to drive standard transmission vehicle
