Job Title: Senior Administrative Assistant
Location: Maraval Port of Spain
Reports To: General Manager / Operations Manager
Employment Type: Full-Time
Key Responsibilities:
Provide high-level administrative support to the General Manager and leadership team
Manage staff scheduling, maintain attendance records, and support payroll processing
Coordinate meetings, prepare agendas, take minutes, and follow up on action items
Track inventory orders, vendor contracts, and invoice processing
Assist with onboarding and maintaining personnel files for restaurant staff
Support internal audits, health/safety compliance documentation, and license renewals
Maintain organized digital and physical filing systems
Communicate with vendors, landlords, and service providers on behalf of management
Handle confidential information professionally and with discretion
Qualifications:
3+ years of administrative experience, preferably in a restaurant or hospitality environment
Strong proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, Outlook) and familiarity with accounting software (e.g. Quickbooks)
Social Media saavy
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Strong attention to detail and time management
Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment
CXC/ CSEC & CAPE / A levels required; Associate Certificate / Diploma or Bachelor’s degree an asset.
Working Conditions:
On-site in the restaurant office; may occasionally assist on the floor during high-volume periods
Flexible schedule availability, including some weekend days or evenings if needed
