The General Manager - Sales and Distribution provides the strategic and operational leadership required to develop and build a successful, profitable, and sustainable consumer goods business. The position requires someone who can operate with confidence in a fast moving, innovative and dynamic business environment to firmly establish the company’s place in the consumer goods market
The jobholder will be specifically responsible for.
- Developing strategic and operational plans to drive the sales and distribution interventions
- Building sustainable relationships with key players in the consumer goods business sector
- Identifying and developing profitable new business opportunities
- Leveraging the strengths of the company to entrench its position in the consumer goods sector
- Developing and managing the marketing, sales, and distribution budgets
- Working collaboratively with professionals to develop sales and marketing campaigns
The successful candidate will have an academic background in Business Management and substantial experience in marketing, sales, and distribution.
