ASSISTANT ACCOUNTANT

GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES:

Reporting to the Chief Financial Officer, the Senior Assistant Accountant is a senior member of the department and ensures that assigned functions are carried out from time to time.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Your primary duties include:

1. Assisting with the preparation of selected financial statements
2. Preparing Daily Cash Management Reports
3. Preparing Monthly Bank reconciliations
4. Preparing and coding Cheque Disbursement vouchers
5. Preparing Monthly Financial Schedules
6. Maintaining Fixed Asset register etc.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• The successful applicant should be the holder of a good undergraduate degree –in Accounting or a suitable related discipline or the holder of certification from a recognized Accounting body.
• A minimum of three (3) years’ experience in a similar capacity
