LARGE INSURANCE BROKER REQUIRES THE SERVICES OF AN
ASSISTANT ACCOUNTANT
GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
Reporting to the Chief Financial Officer, the Senior Assistant Accountant is a senior member of the department and ensures that assigned functions are carried out from time to time.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Your primary duties include:
- Assisting with the preparation of selected financial statements
- Preparing Daily Cash Management Reports
- Preparing Monthly Bank reconciliations
- Preparing and coding Cheque Disbursement vouchers
- Preparing Monthly Financial Schedules
- Maintaining Fixed Asset register etc.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- The successful applicant should be the holder of a good undergraduate degree –in Accounting or a suitable related discipline or the holder of certification from a recognized Accounting body.
- A minimum of three (3) years’ experience in a similar capacity
