The ATL Automotive Group is seeking to hire a Workshop Controller who will assist with organizing and assigning the daily workload to the service technicians in the Service Department.

Workshop Controller
The primary role of the Workshop Controller is to organize and assign the daily workload to the service technicians in the Service Department, ensuring that the required work is completed in a timely and efficient manner, in keeping with the standards of the dealer and ATL Automotive Limited.
Key Responsibilities 
  • Monitor and organize the workshop to facilitate the smooth workflow process.
  • Prepare and submit reports as required.
  • Monitor Workshop, Technician Bays, and Workshop Equipment.
  • Manage units on site and update on-site report and Frog data daily.
  • Update daily Technician Team Stats report.
  • Evaluate the workload for the day and distribute the work accordingly in conjunction with Master Tech, Team Leader, or Service Manager.
  • Ensure clear communication with Service Advisors to ensure up-sell is authorized on time.
  • Closely monitor all jobs to ensure the Technician is executing the job as assigned.
  • Closely monitor requisitions for parts to ensure orders are accurate and parts are issued on time.
  • Ensure that all documentation is properly completed after the repair to the motor vehicle is executed.
Minimum Qualifications & Experience 
  • 5 CXC subjects, inclusive of Mathematics and English.
  • At least 4 years’ experience working at a supervisory level.
  • Knowledge of the Jamaican Automotive Industry.
Competencies
  • Excellent communications and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong competence in Microsoft Office applications, including Microsoft Excel, Outlook.
  • Excellent organization and presentation skills.
  • Strong communication skills in oral and written form.
  • Holder of a valid driver’s license.
  • Ability to multitask while observing deadlines and forecasts.
