Responsibilities:

  • Guide and coach Agile teams on Scrum practices and principles.
  • Facilitate all core Scrum ceremonies: Sprint Planning, Daily Stand-Ups, Sprint Reviews, and Retrospectives.
  • Promote self-organization and cross-functionality within the team.
  • Identify, escalate, and facilitate the removal of impediments that hinder team progress.
  • Foster a collaborative and respectful team environment grounded in trust, openness, and accountability.
  • Help teams improve quality, reduce technical debt, and deliver value incrementally.
  • Communicate progress, risks, and impediments to stakeholders and leadership.
  • Track team KPIs such as velocity, sprint goals, and quality metrics.
  • Ensure retrospectives result in actionable improvements implemented in subsequent sprints.
  • Sustained focus on delivery quality and adherence to the Definition of Done

 

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or related field.
  • 3+ years of experience as a Scrum Master in Agile software development environments.
  • First-level Scrum Master certification
  • Agile Coaching credential (e.g., ICAgile ICP-ACC or ICF credential).
  • Strong understanding of Agile methodologies including Scrum, Kanban, and Lean.
  • Demonstrated experience in coaching, facilitating, and mentoring cross-functional teams.
  • Proficiency in using Agile lifecycle tools such as Jira, Confluence, or similar.
  • Ability to lead difficult conversations and resolve conflicts with diplomacy and tact.
  • Outstanding communication, facilitation, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Experience with Agile engineering practices (e.g., TDD, CI/CD, SOLID principles).
  • Familiarity with scaled Agile frameworks such as SAFe.
  • Exposure to agile product management techniques and tools.
  • Conceptual knowledge of programming and database queries is a plus.
