Promote and market wire rope products and services to a diverse customer base, meet customer needs and establish new business.
- Responsibilities:
- Devise and implement effective sales strategies to achieve and exceed sales targets.
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities while nurturing existing client relationships.
- Conduct presentations and product demonstrations for potential clients.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, address their needs, and provide tailored solutions.
- Update the Divisional Manager on all activities and customer visits and assist with formulating marketing strategy/plans.
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure timely and accurate order processing.
- Attend industry events, trade shows, and conferences to build a network and promote our products.
- Prepare and submit sales reports within the deadline.
- Meet and exceed sales targets for the sale of assigned products, establish goals for payment of invoices, and convert delivery notes to invoices.
- Receive customer feedback and follow up accordingly.
- Coordinate deliveries and technical training seminars for our customers and conduct regular client visits.
- Generate purchase orders, quotations, delivery notes, and transfer notes.
- Perform any other duties as assigned/required.
- Qualifications
- CXC, CSEC Math and English
- Diploma in Sales & Marketing/Business Administration
- Sales Certification
- Experience:
- Minimum of five (5) years’ experience in Industrial Sales. Experience in Wire Rope and Rigging would be an asset.
