Job Summary:
At Excellence Oyster Bay, we are seeking a passionate and knowledgeable Wine Sommelier to join our team. This role is responsible for curating an exceptional wine selection, providing expert recommendations, and delivering a refined wine service that enhances our luxury dining experience.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist guests with wine selection and pairings to complement their dining experience.

• Maintain and update the wine list with premium and international selections.

• Manage wine inventory, storage, and ordering processes.

• Train and guide staff in wine knowledge, tasting notes, and service techniques.

• Organize exclusive wine tastings and promote high-end labels.

• Ensure proper presentation, decanting, and pouring techniques in line with fine dining standards.

Requirements:

• Certification in wine education (WSET, Court of Master Sommeliers, or equivalent).

• Minimum 2 years of experience as a Sommelier or in a fine dining environment.

• Exceptional wine knowledge with a refined palate.

• Strong communication and guest service skills.

• Professional, polished appearance and demeanor.
