Window Treatment Installer

The purpose of this position is to act as an ambassador for Regency Blinds which ensuring complete customer satisfaction by removal, installation and adjustments of all window treatments.

Key responsibilities

• Installer delivers the finished products to residential and commercial job sites,and performs the professional installation including; blinds, shades, panels and awnings.
• Provides direct support for product delivery and installation
• Ensuring customers job sheets match exactly the window treatments manufactured prior the leaving the warehouse for installation.
• Review product shipments for appropriate installation parts prior to leaving the warehouse.
• Arrive at the customer’s home with all possible tools necessary to measure, install, adjust or remove products.
• Responsible for assessing window treatments that are in need of repairs.
• Instruct and demonstrate to customers the operation of each products.
• Listen attentively to customers’ feedback and relay customers concern to management.
• Determine solutions to problems to satisfy the customer and act in the company’s best interest.
• Ensure that all customer areas are clean after installation of all window treatments.
• Responsible for documenting and reporting all window treatments that are returned to the factory.
• Required to work after hours and on weekends to ensure that a job is completed Efficient use of time management in all activities.
• Responsible for a clean, organized work area and vehicle
• Responsible for the safety of all tools assigned to each installer and maintain proper upkeep of all tools and equipment
• Ability to communicate effectively with Management, fellow employees and customers.
• Required to conduct on the job training from time to time.
• Assist with assigned task in the factory as needed.
• Take direction from a supervisor in a positive manner.
• Exemplifies professional standards in appearance, communication and delivery from the first impression.
• Ability to measure accurately with a tape or laser measure.

Skill and Abilities Competencies

• Physically fit to the extent of being able to climb stairs, carry and climb ladders up to 30’tall, bend, stoop, squat, twist, reach, push, pull and lift 50 pounds without injury to self or others.
• Work in a team setting.
• Possess a General Driver’s license to drive a commercial van from our warehouse to the job site.
• Work flexible hours.
• Must be self motivated, goal oriented and possess a strong desire to excel in a challenging environment.
