Job Title: Welder 
 
Job Description: We are seeking an experienced Welder and Certified Machinist to join our team. The ideal candidate should be skilled in both welding and machining, hold relevant certifications and possess a solid track record of producing high-quality work. Your welding and machining expertise is critical as you contribute to the fabrication, repair, and upkeep of metal components that impact our local operations. 
 

Responsibilities: 

  1. Welding: Perform high-quality welding operations on various metal materials to produce strong and structurally sound components. 

  1. Machining:Utilize various machining equipment to shape, cut, and finish metal parts according to precise specifications. 

  1. Interpret Blueprints: Read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and technical documents to understand requirements. 

  1. Quality Control: Ensure all welded and machined parts are of high standards for quality, safety, and functionality. 

  1. Safety Compliance: Adhere to safety protocols and practices, maintaining a safe work environment for yourself and your colleagues and ensuring that machine equipment is in good working condition. 

  1. Materials Management: Select and requisition appropriate metals, alloys, and other materials required for welding and machining projects. 

  1. Problem Solving: Troubleshoot issues with welding or machining processes and recommend effective solutions. 
     

Qualifications: 

  • Proven experience as a Welder and Certified Machinist. 

  • Certifications in welding and machining processesare a plus. 

  • Proficiency in a variety of welding techniques. 

  • Strong knowledge of machine equipment. 

  • Attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality work. 

  • Knowledge of safety protocols and practices related to welding and machining. 

  • Effective problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently. 

  • Strong communication skills. 

  • Reliable and punctual.
