Job Title: Welder
Job Description: We are seeking an experienced Welder and Certified Machinist to join our team. The ideal candidate should be skilled in both welding and machining, hold relevant certifications and possess a solid track record of producing high-quality work. Your welding and machining expertise is critical as you contribute to the fabrication, repair, and upkeep of metal components that impact our local operations.
Responsibilities:
Welding: Perform high-quality welding operations on various metal materials to produce strong and structurally sound components.
Machining:Utilize various machining equipment to shape, cut, and finish metal parts according to precise specifications.
Interpret Blueprints: Read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and technical documents to understand requirements.
Quality Control: Ensure all welded and machined parts are of high standards for quality, safety, and functionality.
Safety Compliance: Adhere to safety protocols and practices, maintaining a safe work environment for yourself and your colleagues and ensuring that machine equipment is in good working condition.
Materials Management: Select and requisition appropriate metals, alloys, and other materials required for welding and machining projects.
Problem Solving: Troubleshoot issues with welding or machining processes and recommend effective solutions.
Qualifications:
Proven experience as a Welder and Certified Machinist.
Certifications in welding and machining processesare a plus.
Proficiency in a variety of welding techniques.
Strong knowledge of machine equipment.
Attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality work.
Knowledge of safety protocols and practices related to welding and machining.
Effective problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently.
Strong communication skills.
Reliable and punctual.
