The incumbent will be a skilled and proactive Web Developer with strong technical expertise and a focus on delivering reliable and user-friendly online experience.

 

  1. 1.    Principal Responsibilities
  • Manage and maintain the company website to ensure optimal performance, security, and user experience.
  • Oversee the e-commerce platform, including product listings, pricing updates, promotions, and the functionality of checkout and payment systems.
  • Collaborate with marketing and merchandising teams to implement website content such as promotions, product details, and blog updates in a timely manner.
  • Apply SEO best practices to improve search visibility and monitor website performance using analytics and reporting tools.
  • Ensure the website complies with security standards and data protection regulations, implementing updates and safeguards as required.
  • Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve website and system issues efficiently to minimize downtime and maintain business continuity.

 

  1. 2.    Key Competences
  • Strong proficiency in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
  • Hands-on experience with front-end or back-end frameworks (e.g. React, Angular, Node.js, Laravel)
  • Ability to analyze issues, debug efficiently, and implement effective solutions
  • Proven experience building and maintaining responsive websites or web applications
  • Experience in applying clean coding and basic testing practices
  • Ability to collaborate effectively and explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders

 

  1. 3.    Minimum Education and Experience
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Web Development, or related field.
  • 2–4 years of hands-on experience in web development
  • Proficiency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and frameworks like React or Vue.js.
  • Experience with CMS platforms (e.g., WordPress, Shopify, Magento).
  • Knowledge of WebSphere and Liferay
  • Knowledge of SEO principles and Google Analytics.
