Watersports Instructor

IKO-certified Watersports Instructors teach one-on-one sessions in kitesurfing, paddleboarding, sailing and more. They lead activities like kayaking, snorkeling, e-foiling, and volleyball, prep guest areas, clean boats, assist excursions, manage maintenance, ensure safety, and host guests.

• Must adhere to safety protocol for boats and watersport centers, by ensuring the fleets are regularly maintained, safety checks are carried out and report any faulty equipment.
• Ensure all safety equipment is available and in perfect working order such as Extinguishers, Oxygen flares, First aid kits etc.
• Ensure all Hobies, kite boards, water skis, paddle boards, etc. are maintained and checked regularly and are in excellent working condition.
• Coordinate orders to ensure necessary parts are obtained following the PO standard and within budget guidelines
• Ensure correct presentation of watersports center that its clean, organized. Make sure all equipment is secured at the end of each day and all equipment is accounted for and all guests are safe.   
• Facilitate and instruct guest in activities   
• Carry out safety checks on equipment ensuring kits are up to standard.
• Assist with transfer day moving guest luggage. 
• Hosting guests on island 
• Help to implement monthly stock/inventories & keep storeroom clean.
