The Warehouse Supervisor is responsible for managing the day-to-day operations of the warehouse, coordinating deliveries, and ensuring compliance with company standards and customs regulations.

The Warehouse Supervisor is responsible for managing the day-to-day operations of the warehouse, coordinating deliveries, and ensuring compliance with company standards and customs regulations. The Warehouse Supervisor oversees warehouse staff, manages inventory accuracy, enforces the Authorized Economic Operator (AEO) requirements, and ensures timely customer deliveries. This role also involves managing driver scheduling, processing customer pickups at retail outlets, coordinating with the sales team, and participating in stocktaking activities. Reporting directly to the Warehouse Manager, the Warehouse Supervisor ensures operational targets are met while maintaining high safety, accuracy, and efficiency standards

Key Responsibilities:

Day-to-Day Operations Management:

• Manage and oversee daily warehouse activities, including receiving, storing, picking, packing, and shipping goods.

• Ensure the efficient and accurate processing of orders to meet delivery deadlines.

• Oversee the scheduling and coordination of customer deliveries, ensuring timely and accurate dispatch.

• Process items being picked up by customers from the warehouse at retail outlets, ensuring proper documentation and customer service.

Delivery & Driver Coordination:

• Coordinate with drivers and manage delivery schedules to ensure timely and efficient distribution of goods to customers.

• Ensure that proof of deliveries and customer pickups are returned and recorded adequately for inventory control and compliance.

• Work closely with the sales team to confirm inventory availability and coordinate delivery requirements.

Inventory Management & Stock Control:

• Support the Warehouse Manager in maintaining inventory accuracy through regular cycle counts and monitoring stock levels.

• Participate in quarterly and annual stock counts, investigating and resolving discrepancies in coordination with the warehouse and finance teams.

• Ensure adherence to warehouse controls, including proper documentation and accurate record-keeping of inventory movement.

AEO Compliance & Warehouse Controls:

• Enforce the AEO (Authorized Economic Operator) requirements, ensuring all processes comply with customs regulations and security standards.

• Conduct regular internal audits to verify compliance with AEO standards and address any areas of concern.

• Ensure that all necessary documentation for customs compliance is completed and filed appropriately

Team Supervision & Development:

• Supervise, train, and motivate warehouse staff, ensuring adherence to company policies and standard operating procedures.

• Assign tasks to team members and monitor their performance, providing feedback and guidance as necessary.

• Address staffing issues, including scheduling, attendance, and team coordination, to ensure adequate coverage for warehouse operations.

Health & Safety Compliance:

• Enforce safety protocols and maintain a clean, safe, organised warehouse environment.

• Conduct regular safety checks and ensure all warehouse staff are trained and compliant with safety procedures.

• Identify and report any potential hazards or risks in the warehouse environment and work with the Warehouse Manager to implement corrective actions.

Performance Monitoring & Reporting:

• Track and report key performance metrics, such as order accuracy, inventory turnover, and on-time delivery rates.

• Identify areas for improvement and suggest operational enhancements to the Warehouse Manager.

• Participate in daily and weekly meetings to discuss warehouse performance, challenges, and solutions.

Educational Requirements & Experience:

• (Associate degree in logistics or supply chain management preferred).

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in warehouse or logistics operations, with at least 1 year in a supervisory role.

• Familiarity with warehouse management systems (WMS) and inventory control processes.

• Familiar with SAP ERP inventory management system.

• Forklift operation certification is preferred but not mandatory
