Warehouse Supervisor

Mother's Food Group is seeking to identify a suitably qualified individual to join its Factory Operations and Distribution team as Warehouse Supervisor. The successful candidate will be responsible to supervise, maintain inventory, ensures safety compliance and drive process improvements.

Main Responsibilities

• Coordinate general stock counts, audit and investigate variances.
• Manage inventory levels to minimize loss, damage and discrepancies
• Supervise, motivate, assess and train warehouse staff of 40 employees.
• Schedule shifts, assign daily tasks and monitor productivity and attendance.
• Conduct performance reviews and assist with recruitment processes.
• Oversee the receipt and storing of incoming goods and ensures that the quantity and quality are accurate and properly documented.
• Coordinate with departments to meet delivery schedules and maintain organized storage systems.
• Enforce all safety policies and procedures to maintain a safe work environment.  
• Stay up to date on HACCP, GMP (good manufacturing practices) and other regulatory standards for warehouse operations.
• Identify and implement improvements in warehouse procedures to increase efficiency and reduce waste.

Education/Experience/Skill

• Associate’s or Bachelor’s Degree in logistics, supply chain or related field
• A minimum of 3 years experience in a warehouse environment with at least 1 year in a supervisory or leadership role.
• Capacity for direct supervision of a team of 40 employees.
• Performs effectively under significant pressure.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Forklift certification ( or willingness to obtain)
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand/walk for extended periods.
• Willingness to work extended hours, weekends and public holidays.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Windows Applications.
• Experience working with fast moving goods
• Experience working with frozen food/ working in cold environment
