Warehouse Supervisor

Wisynco Group Limited seeks to hire Warehouse Supervisors

PURPOSE OF POSITION

To ensure that all relevant daily warehouse activities are carried out efficiently and accurately and where applicable, in compliance to the company’s Integrated Management Objectives as it relates to Documentation, Food Security, GMP and inventory accuracy 

 KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

General

• Have a general awareness of items in stock. This will require physical spot checks
• All items being transferred are physically validated before leaving warehouse, reefer
• Ensure that all established procedures are followed in receiving raw material. 
• Communicate with Beverage Stores when spare parts have arrived and ensure items are signed for before issuing items. 
• Ensure proper stock rotation
• Participate in/or conduct cycle counts when necessary
• Communicate with Manager if there is any problem with reefers that can cause potential breakdown and compromise product integrity
• Ensure Forklift is properly maintained by Forklift Operators and review check sheet
• Ensure that staff is monitored for job accuracy
• Inspect fire extinguishers and ensure replacement/refilling where necessary                                                                     

JOB SPECIFICATION/COMPETENCIES [Minimum]

• Supervisory Experience minimum 2 years
• Excellent communication skills
• Basic Knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word and Outlook
• Good analytical skills
• Ability to work on own initiative
• Ability to work under pressure
• Meticulous with details.
• Ability to meet agreed deadlines
• Experience in inventory management
