A warehouse supervisor is responsible overseeing and coordinating daily warehouse activities such as receiving and storing goods, managing inventory, ensuring the efficient delivery of goods, supervising staff, and securing the warehouse.

Caribbean Coffee Baristas Barbados Limited (CCBBL) is searching for a warehouse supervisor, who will be responsible overseeing and coordinating daily warehouse activities such as receiving and storing goods, managing inventory, ensuring the efficient delivery of goods, supervising staff, and securing the warehouse. 

Key Deliverables & Performance Indicators

The below highlights key deliverables critical for the performance of the role. Performance reviews will be scheduled, based on agreement of metrics required from period-to-period.

  • Ensure all inventory store supplies are received accurately into warehouse at CACS and in the existing accounting software for all islands.
  • Coordinate and oversee all warehouse activities, including receiving, inspecting, and recording incoming shipments of goods and materials.
  • Conduct regular cycle counts and physical inventory checks to maintain accurate inventory levels.
  • Ensure accuracy and efficiency in all warehouse processes and operations.
  • Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the warehouse to ensure a safe and efficient work environment.
  • Operate warehouse equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, and hand trucks safely and efficiently.
  • Accurately pick, pack, and prepare orders for shipment according to store request.
  • Maintain organized storage areas and ensure proper labeling and identification of inventory.
  • Ensure compliance with all company policies and procedures, as well as local regulations.
  • Perform quality inspections on incoming and outgoing products to ensure they meet company standards and customer expectations.
  • Report any quality issues or discrepancies to the Supply Chain Manager promptly.
  • Monitor inventory levels and oversee inventory control processes, including cycle counts and physical inventory checks.
  • Coordinate with purchasing and logistics teams to ensure adequate stock levels and timely replenishment of inventory.
  • Provide accurate on hands of all warehouse facilities by expiration date.
  • Maintain accurate records of inventory transactions, shipping documents, and other warehouse-related documentation.
  • Generate reports as needed to support inventory control, order fulfillment, and other warehouse operations.
  • Communicate effectively with Supply Chain Manager and Country manager on all inventory item, equipment, or processes.
  • Protects organization's value by keeping information confidential.

Minimum Qualifications – Education & Experience

  • High school diploma or equivalent; additional education or certification in logistics or supply chain management is a plus.
  • Flexible working hours, including weekends and holidays.

Core Competencies

  • Ability to lift and carry heavy objects and operate warehouse equipment.
  • Ability to stand, walk, bend, and reach for extended periods.
  • At least 80% versed in Microsoft Excel spreadsheets, functions, and formulas.
  • Good and sound knowledge of accounting principles and practices.
  • Excellent communication skills; must be able to effectively communicate and/or recommend any necessary changes.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in performing tasks such as counting, sorting, and recording inventory.
  • Adaptable to change. Self-motivated with a positive attitude toward success of the business.
  • Excellent interpersonal and people management skills.
  • Good customer relations skills.
  • Good time management and organizational skills.
  • Excellent integrity/ethics exercised in the performance of duties.
