Warehouse Supervisor (ASP)

The warehouse supervisor will be responsible for supervising all receiving of goods to ensure smooth and efficient operations.

PRINCIPAL DUTIES

• Tallies all foreign and local goods being received into the warehouse.
• Prepares GRM for what is physically received and ensure that it is checked and countersigned by the Floor Supervisor/ Warehouse Manager.
• Ensures that actual physical stock corresponds with the invoice at hand and that all pallets are appropriately tied, packed and labeled prior to racking.
• Ensures that all damages are separated from good stock and advise the Stock Co-ordinator accordingly.
• Ensure that photographs are taken of all damages, in containers/loose and forward the same to the relevant department Manager for submission of claim on supplier.
• To supervise the stuffing of all “EXPORT” containers.
• Ensures that all goods received conform to order specifications. Verifies safe and accurate receipt by comparing actual goods received to the invoice or delivery note.
• Ensures that the Inventory Department is given a copy of all Goods Received Memos immediately upon completion.
• Performs any other duties as may from time to time be considered by the Manager to be applicable to this post. 

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE

• 5 O’ Level Passes including Mathematics and English
• A valid police certificate of good character. 

KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS

• Must possess excellent communication skills.
• Must possess good interpersonal and supervisory skills.
• A fair knowledge of warehouse operations.
