Warehouse Inventory Manager

Reporting to the COO, the incumbent is responsible for tracking stock levels; coordinating shipments through the loading and off loading of containers; managing staff

Duties and Responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following:

• Oversee the loading of delivery trucks on a daily basis and in accordance with best practice.
• Ensure the efficient loading and off loading of containers.
• Dispatches sales drivers in a timely manner.
• Ensure the  accurate input  data and maintenance of the inventory system.
• Conduct  regular cycle counts to verify accuracy against physical inventory.
• Collaborate with Receival Clerk to ensure proper coordination of the shipping and receival process, ensuring that all incoming and outgoing shipments are verified against purchase orders and sales/distribution documents.
• Ensure that raw materials and packaging materials are delivered to the production department as and when needed.
• Ensure that finished goods in the warehouse are stored using “FIFO” principles.
• Work closely with all relevant managers including, but not limited to the Warehouse, Production and Factory Managers, to ensure that their needs are met and that any problems are resolved effectively and in a timely manner.
• Escalate issues to the COO when necessary.
• Liaise with sales team to ensure the efficient and timely delivery of goods to customers.
• Ensure the compliance of all warehouse workers with safety regulations and good manufacturing practices (GMP) within the warehouse environment.
• Ensure the cleanliness and proper maintenance of the warehouse equipment and facilities.
• Provide training and guidance to warehouse staff to ensure that they achieve their daily targets.
• Ensure that all relevant documentation is handled and stored in accordance with company policy.
• Oversee the daily activities ensuring efficient workflow and adherence to all operational procedures.
• Assign tasks and work orders to warehouse staff.
• Carry out any other related tasks that may be assigned by the COO or the Warehouse Manager from time to time.
