We are seeking a Warehouse Coordinator to lead the warehouse operations of a Chemical Raw Material Distributor. Responsibilities include receiving, storage, delivery, and inventory management. This role requires strong leadership, organizational skills, and a hands-on approach to supervising staff, enforcing compliance with safety and quality standards, and ensuring efficiency in daily operations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Supervise warehouse staff (training and directives, evaluations, discipline).
  • Oversee receiving, storage, and delivery of goods, ensuring FIFO and accuracy.
  • Manage inventory control, conduct bi-monthly stock counts, and reconcile variances.
  • Enforce GMP, OSHA, and company safety regulations.
  • Handle customer service transactions and coordinate with purchasing, logistics, and quality teams.
  • Support investigations into product non-conformity and customer complaints.
  • Supervise machine care, warehouse cleanliness and safety.

Requirements

  • Certification in Supervisory Management or equivalent.
  • Minimum 3 years’ experience in warehouse/production supervision or quality assurance.
  • Strong knowledge of GMP, Factories Act, OSHA, and warehouse best practices.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and warehouse systems.
  • Excellent leadership, time management, and communication skills.
  • Working knowledge of chemical handling and warehouse safety best practices.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in warehouse conditions (heat, dust, organic fumes)
  • Frequent to moderate walking short/long distances within the Warehouse, Yard and Office areas
  • Wearing of appropriate PPE gear required for normal daily function
