Responsible for assising with various warehouse duties which entails receiving, loading and unloading of delivery vehicles, storage of goods, maintaining a clean and organised warehouse, hampers and drop boxes production, vehicle and inspections and reporting, weekly stocks and stock count reports.
OVERRAL OBJECTIVE & PURPOSE
Responsible for assising with various warehouse duties which entails receiving, loading and unloading of delivery vehicles, storage of goods, maintaining a clean and organised warehouse, hampers and drop boxes production, vehicle and inspections and reporting, weekly stocks and stock count reports.
PRINCIPAL DUTIES & RESPONSABILITES
• Receive ALL materials at the warehouse; duties includes off loading shipment and verifing quantities against invoiced amount.
• Ensure that the materials inside the warehouse is organized according to brand, unbranded or branded.
• Inspect all fleet vehicles weekly and submitt forms with findings to the Warehouse Lead, report all deviations and update vehicle inspections report.
• Process IMG through the internal system of Pick and Pack for FMR collection as per IMG Distribution, fortnightly rotational roster.
• Conduct investigation for missing IMG packs as it relates to you and ensure resolution within the required time frame.
• Must monitor incoming and outgoing stock for obvious faults or defects and report these to the Warehouse Lead and Field Services Supervisor.
• Conduct with weekly stock counts and all promotional items stored in the warehouse.
• Operate a forklift and other material handling equipment in a safe manner as required.
• Perform routine inspection and preventive maintenance on assigned equipment.
• Refer defects or needed repairs to supervisor.
• Issues stock through set processes internally scan and pack FMR vehicles.
• Pre-pick promotional items as needed, ensure FRM signs for receiving items and file documentation.
• Filing of documents in a secure environment for retrieval and verification purposes.
• Maintain a clean, safe, secure warehouse according to 5S standards, this includes consumable warehouse, the driveway, both sides and the front of the warehouse with in the fence.
• Assist retail and marketing teams with promotional requirements for trade and execution eg. Preparation of advertised supplies and hampers.
• Perpare stock distribution templates as needed.
• Complete mandatory training as stipulated by IGT.
REQUERIMENTS
ACADEMIC BACKGROUND
• Five CXC passes including Mathematics and English Language
• Computer Literate
EXPERIENCE
• Minimum 2 years’ experience in warehousing, with duties such as Binning, Picking and Packing dispatching.
• Ability to use a forklift
• Ability to communicate written and orally
• Knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel
