Our client is one of the leading I.T solutions providers across the Caribbean. Due to growth, they have an immediate need for a proven “team – player” to assist with the logistics duties within the Warehouse department

Overview: Our client is one of the leading I.T solutions providers across the Caribbean. Due to growth, they have an immediate need for a proven “team – player” to assist with the logistics duties within the Warehouse department based in Barbados on a 3 – 6-month temporary contract basis.

 

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • The implementation and maintenance of effective inventory management systems for ordering, receiving, storing and disbursing of inventory.
  • The input and verification of data in the Inventory management system.
  • Receiving, recording, efficient stocking and issuing of inventory.
  • The inventory forecasting and reporting as required.
  • The maintenance of inventory movement records, audit trails and associated reconciliations.
  • The placing of orders with suppliers as well as supplier management.
  • The shipping spares to our partners as required.
  • The return of spares which failed under warranty to the equipment manufacturers.
  • The coordination and management of stock counts and reconciliations.
  • Monitoring of minimum re-order levels.
  • Maintaining an orderly stockroom, ensuring the prompt location and distribution of parts as required.
  • Ensuring the delivery of quality service to customers/clients in accordance with established standards, policies and business practices.

 

Desires Skills and Qualifications:

 

• Five CXC passes inclusive of English A, Mathematics & Principles of Accounts.

• Good oral/written communication skills.

• Excellent planning, organizing and time-management skills.

• Working knowledge of a computerized Inventory Application.
