Warehouse Attendant (LMO/TS2)

The incumbent is responsible to inspect and verify products, materials and equipment before storing in warehouse. Execute loading and unloading operations

Summary:            The incumbent is responsible to inspect and verify products, materials and equipment before storing in warehouse. Execute loading and unloading operations and ensure compliance of safety procedures and practices in warehouse operations.

• Organization of materials and equipment
• Good warehousing practices followed
• Raw material inventories

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Transport raw material to Batch Room
• Load and unload materials and equipment
• Sort and place materials or equipment according to organizational standards
• Maintains safe and clean work environment by keeping shelves, pallet area, and work stations
• Organize warehouse and work area for orderliness at all times
• Participate in all raw material inventories.

Other Responsibilities

• Any other duties that may be assigned by the Warehouse and Distribution Supervisor

•  loading and unloading of materials and equipment in keeping with established standards
• Maintenance of proper safety procedures
• Maintain clean organized area in keeping with Occupational Health and Safety   Act and Company’s standards
•  lifting techniques adhered to

Minimum Required Education and Experience:

• Must be able to read and write                             

Working Conditions:

• Extended periods of standing and walking
• Required to lift and move heavy loads (up to 50 lbs.)

Basic Salary: $18,647.00 per week
