Warehouse Attendant

The Warehouse Attendant is responsible for the movement and storage of products within the warehouse by maintaining accurate records of inventory levels, receiving, and distributing products and ensuring that all products are properly accounted for.

This position requires attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and the ability to work independently.

Job Duties:

• Pulling orders of dry goods for customers and Retail Outlets
• Physical stock rotation of dry goods when pulling orders.
• Maintenance of stock room and ensuring appropriate levels of stock are kept.
• Distributing of cleaning supplies, PPE, packaging material when required
• Monitors stock of items to be reordered incl. freezer wear, baskets, crates, scrapers, brushes, scoops, shovels (plastic), liners for export cargo, cardboard boxes
• Distributing of grocery items, when required
• Stock checks when required
• Check off frozen goods to dispatch drivers.
• Ensuring that the packing and weighing of dry products e.g., Rice, panko, tempura, mushrooms etc. are completed.
• Ensuring items received in containers are properly recorded (physically received vs. ordered, expiry dates etc.) and packed into dry stock room.
• Ensuring that the stock areas are well cleaned and maintained.
• Training of personnel as required.

Requirements:

• Five (5) CSEC passes inclusive of Mathematics and English.
• Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office.
• Ability to perform physical activities requiring lifting and bending.
• Heavy-T license would be an asset.
• Abilit to drive a forklift
• A valid Police Certificate of Good Character
