Warehouse Attendant/ Forklift Driver

The position holder will be responsible for handling products and materials around the warehouse by arranging and organizing. He/she will assist in receiving and locating orders, and loading, and unloading the trucks.

• Assist with offloading containers of raw materials safely either manually or with the use of a forklift from both domestic and export.
• Assist with loading finished products safely either manually or with the use of a forklift for both domestic and export.
• Assist with loading and unloading items from the vehicles.
• Assist with loading and unloading the molds while ensuring safe lifting or safe forklift driving.
• Assist with receiving new inventory by checking the quantity and product type as it is delivered. (inspect and store it accordingly)
• Assist with conducting physical inventory checks actively (bulk, special packaging, etc.)
• Assist with replenishing stock and inventory as needed.
• Assist with labeling new orders accordingly and dispatching them as efficiently as possible.
• Assist with storing stock in the correct locations in the warehouse in an organized and structured manner.
• Transfer inventory to trucks for delivery promptly and according to the schedule advised by the Warehouse Supervisor.
• Assist with the raw materials that are being transferred to and from the warehouse. (loading boxes, pallets, etc)
• Assist with preparing orders on a case-by-case basis for accurate and efficient dispatching i.e. label items, stretch wrap boxes, and label boxes.
• Keep active communication by collaborating with the Warehouse Supervisor.
• Adhere to operating instructions and safety policies.
• Use of pallet jack and dollies.
• Operating forklifts or other equipment safely to move inventory to ensure accurate storing.
• Assist with managing the pallet inventory by sorting or storing.
• Assist with stocking shelves and monitoring inventory levels to ensure that items are not depleting.
• Provide support to the Warehouse Supervisor to ensure a smooth operation.
• Assist walk-in customers as and when required.
• Providing excellent customer service, answering questions, and handling client complaints.
• Ensure housekeeping is completed daily.
• Any other and related duties which may arise due to the exigencies of the Company's operations and needs.
• Daily/Weekly forklift inspection.
