Job Summary

We are seeking a reliable and hardworking Warehouse Associate with driving responsibilities to join our team. This role involves handling warehouse operations such as receiving, storing, and distributing goods, along with making deliveries and pickups using company vehicles. The ideal candidate must hold a valid Class 4 driving permit and have a strong commitment to safety, efficiency, and customer service.

Key Responsibilities

Warehouse Duties:

1. Receive, inspect, and verify incoming shipments against invoices or purchase orders
2. Organize and store inventory in designated warehouse locations
3. Pick, pack, and prepare orders for dispatch
4. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the warehouse
5. Conduct regular inventory counts and report discrepancies
6. Operate warehouse equipment such as forklifts and pallet jacks (if certified)

Driving & Delivery Duties:

1. Safely operate company vehicles for deliveries and pickups
2. Load and unload goods for transport, ensuring proper handling
3. Plan and follow efficient delivery routes
4. Obtain delivery confirmations and maintain accurate delivery records
5. Perform basic vehicle inspections and report maintenance issues
6. Adhere to all road safety regulations and company driving policies

Requirements

1. Valid Class 4 Driving Permit (required)
2. Proven experience in warehouse operations and/or delivery driving
3. Clean driving record
4. Ability to lift and move heavy items (up to [insert weight, e.g., 50 lbs])
5. Strong organizational and time management skills
6. Basic math and record-keeping abilities
7. Ability to work independently and as part of a team
8. High level of reliability and punctuality

Preferred Qualifications

1. Forklift certification (or willingness to obtain)

3. Familiarity with inventory management systems

Working Conditions
