The incumbent provides clerical and administrative support to ensure efficient operation of the warehouse.
Duties & Responsibilities:
Perform data entry and maintain accurate warehouse records (inventory, shipments, receipts, returns).
Prepare and process shipping and receiving documents, including bills of lading and packing slips.
Prepare and maintain accurate records of all dispatch transactions including delivery schedules
Ensure all paperwork is completed, signed, and filed appropriately
Record return details accurately in the warehouse management system (ERP).
Maintain and update warehouse management systems (ERP/WMS) and other software tools.
Communicate with vendors, carriers, and internal departments regarding returns, shipments and deliveries.
Assist in inventory control tasks, including cycle counts and audits.
File, organize and maintain documents both digitally and physically including checklists and inspections
Monitor office supplies and place orders when necessary.
Generate routine and ad-hoc reports for management.
Support warehouse staff with administrative tasks as needed.
Timesheet and Payroll processing
Contractor / Delivery payment processing
Communicate with drivers, warehouse team, and customer service as needed.
Use warehouse management systems (ERP) systems and stock sheets to update inventory records.
Liaise with Warehouse Supervisor on critical items relating to warehouse.
Conducting inventory cycle counts and updating stock sheets (raw, packaging & finished) as required;
Conforms to all established departmental & company policies, procedures & objectives, fulfils the requirements of CGA Ltd.’s SQF Program including but not limited to GMPs, PPE, HACCP, food safety & HSE site protocols.
Be knowledgeable of all warehouse operations, protocols and activities;
Immediately report any non-conformances relating to warehousing operations to the warehouse supervisor and/or manager;
Maintains warehouse staff job results by coaching / training, appraising, monitoring and if required disciplining employees;
Performs other related tasks and responsibilities as required by the Warehouse Supervisor and/or Manager;
Undergo any job-related training required by the company;
Knowledge, Skills and Experience:
Bachelor’s Degree in Sales, Marketing, Accounts, Business Management or any related field.
At least 3 years’ experience in Export Marketing.
Experience working in a manufacturing environment.
Experience in a target-oriented work environment and the ability to prioritize work based on given deadlines will be considered.
