Warden

The incumbent is responsible for co-ordinating the provision of healthy living accommodation for students attending the College (local and international), while ensuring that students adhere College’s policies, guidelines and procedures governing Residence Halls.

• Reports prepared and submitted in a time manner
• Deadlines are met
• Systems of accountability are being adhered
• Job functions are performed accurately and efficiently in accordance with established policies and procedures

• Accurate room placements are done according to signed Residence Hall Contracts.
• Students are encouraged to maintain good discipline and breaches of the Residence Hall Contract are consistently punished according to the provisions of the Student Handbook.
• Written reports of all important matters in the Halls of Residence are prepared and submitted in a timely manner
• Student orientation done as programmed and as an ongoing activity throughout the year
• Regular Hall meetings are held to address students’ welfare and monitor discipline
• Regular scheduled and unscheduled room checks are conducted to monitor compliance with the Residence Hall Contract
• Student absences and leave applications processed and documented in a consistent manner in conformity with established procedures
