WEDDING CAPTAIN
To bring our brides and grooms dreams to life on their special day by providing personalized and professional wedding planning and execution services.
Specific Knowledge & Skills Required:
- Executing, coordinating, and overseeing the setup and service of all wedding functions
- Inspecting room setups to ensure proper presentation and standards are being met
- Maintaining room setup standards and coordinates cleaning schedules with Housekeeping and Wedding Banquet Supervisor.
- Working with the Wedding Planners, Wedding Banquet Supervisor, Wedding Stewards and the service team to continuously improve standards of wedding presentation and service to maximize client and attendee satisfaction.
- Ensuring strict sequence of service with respect to timing, coordinated delivery and clearing of food and beverage. Makes certain that each menu course is delivered simultaneously to all guests seated at a table.
- Working closely with the rest of the wedding team to identify the needs of the client and ensure guest satisfaction
Qualifications and Experience:
- Minimum one (1) year’s wedding/social event service management experience in a full service, luxury hotel/resort operation
- Administrative experience
- High School Leaving Certificate/Diploma
- Food Handler’s permit
WEDDING EVENTS COORDINATOR

Specific Knowledge & Skills Required:
- Ensuring that all equipment is properly stored at the end of each wedding and maintained in top condition
- Assisting in inventory storage, control, and ordering, receiving and general maintenance of all inventory items
- Contributing to effective inventory control and participates in inventory management processes, such as counts and reconciliations
- Ensuring that sanitation and maintenance standards are maintained and observed
- Following the resort’s sanitation checklist as defined in Food & Beverage Sanitation Programme and takes corrective action when necessary
- Assisting in minimizing costs (breakage, chemical usage, staffing level, etc.)
- Coordinating with the Weddings Events Assistant Manager to ensure appropriate minimum and maximum operating par levels and that equipment/supplies are in optimal condition
Qualifications and Experience:
- Diploma/Certification in Event Planning
- Minimum one (1) year’s wedding/social event service management experience in a full service, luxury hotel/resort operation
- Administrative experience
