WATERSPORTS ATTENDANT

Under the general guidance of the Watersports Manager, and within the limits of the policies and procedures, maintain the beach, beach chairs, and swimming area. Assist and instruct the guests as to the proper usage of watersports equipment so as to maintain a safe and enjoyable environment for both guests and team members.

The duties and responsibilities include:

• Demonstrated knowledge of and the ability to use and instruct guests on the proper usage of all Watersports equipment;
• Expertise in utilizing a Hobie cat, Hobie Wave, sunfish, windsurfer, surf bike, and kayak.
• Must be able to troubleshoot and resolve technical and mechanical issues.
• Must be able to work with a culturally diverse workforce
• Proven ability to motivate and lead a team

 Qualifications and Experience 

• Certified PADI/NAUI instructor.
• A valid lifeguard license.
• Coxswain license to operate vessels that may be under your command.
