Job Summary

The Vice President – Information Technology & Digital Transformation is responsible for shaping and executing the organization’s enterprise technology roadmap. This role will champion the integration of artificial intelligence (AI), smart manufacturing technologies, and sustainable digital solutions to advance business performance. The VP will ensure technology investments drive growth, operational efficiency, environmental stewardship, and strong cybersecurity and data governance within a dynamic FMCG environment.

Job Reesponsibilities

Strategic Direction & Executive Leadership

  • Develop and implement a comprehensive IT and digital transformation strategy aligned with corporate objectives, incorporating AI, automation, Industry innovations, and enterprise platforms, including ERP.

  • Lead organization-wide ERP implementation, integration, optimization, and compliance to enhance process efficiency, data integrity, and regulatory standards.

  • Advance the use of environmentally responsible and energy-efficient technologies across all business units.

  • Provide executive guidance on emerging technologies such as AI, IoT, and Industry, ensuring the organization remains competitive and future-ready.

IT Operations, Governance & Business Continuity

  • Oversee enterprise IT operations to ensure secure, scalable, and high-performing systems that support manufacturing, logistics, and commercial functions.

  • Establish and maintain governance frameworks covering IT risk, compliance, cybersecurity, and disaster recovery planning, emphasizing long-term resilience.

Cybersecurity & Enterprise Risk Management

  • Develop and maintain a comprehensive cybersecurity strategy to proactively address evolving digital risks.

  • Direct incident response protocols, system vulnerability assessments, and regulatory compliance initiatives.

  • Foster a culture of cybersecurity awareness and accountability across the enterprise.

Data Strategy, AI & Advanced Analytics

  • Spearhead the deployment of AI-powered analytics, predictive maintenance capabilities, and business intelligence tools to improve decision-making and operational outcomes.

  • Implement enterprise data governance standards to ensure data accuracy, security, and ethical AI practices.

  • Integrate legacy and modern systems to create a cohesive, data-driven digital ecosystem.

Smart Manufacturing 

  • Guide the deployment and optimization of Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES), Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition (SCADA), and related Industry technologies.

  • Drive automation and digital process enhancements to improve product quality, reduce downtime, and optimize cost performance.

Leadership & Cross-Functional Partnership

  • Build and lead a results-oriented IT and digital transformation team focused on innovation, agility, and continuous improvement.

  • Partner with Operations, Supply Chain, and Sustainability teams to deliver integrated technology solutions aligned with strategic and environmental objectives.

Vendor Management & Financial Oversight

  • Oversee strategic relationships with technology vendors, AI partners, and system integrators to ensure measurable value delivery.

  • Develop and manage the IT budget, aligning capital and operational expenditures with long-term digital and sustainability priorities.

Job Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, Business Administration, or a related discipline; MBA or relevant Master’s degree preferred.

  • Minimum of 10 years of progressive IT leadership experience, including at least 5 years in a senior executive capacity.

  • Demonstrated success leading enterprise-wide digital transformation initiatives, AI integration, smart manufacturing programs, and ERP deployments — experience with ERP implementation and governance strongly preferred.

  • Experience within FMCG, manufacturing, or supply chain-driven environments is highly advantageous.

  • Comprehensive knowledge of enterprise systems (ERP, CRM, MES, SCADA), cybersecurity best practices, and data governance frameworks.
